Can I cancel any time?
Yes, with the Cancel subscription button on your My plans page; you do not have to contact us. A monthly plan keeps working to the end of the month you paid for. A yearly plan cancelled before its renewal date runs to the end of the year you paid for, and does not renew.
How does a yearly plan renew?
Automatically, once a year, at the price you bought it for. About 30 days before each renewal we email you the date and the amount. After a renewal you can cancel at any time with one month's notice, and we refund the unused part of the year in proportion to the time left.
Can I change my mind?
Within 14 days of buying a plan you can withdraw for a full refund, as long as you have not used it: no model unlocked for download, no star map 3MF bought, and on Merchant no license number issued. Generating, previewing and saving models do not count as use. At checkout you ask for access to start right away, so the right ends once you use the plan.
Is unlimited really unlimited?
Downloads are unlimited: no credit is spent on any of them. Generating new models has a fair-use limit, as on every account: 100 generations per rolling 24 hours and 5,000 per rolling 365 days. That is far above normal use, and if you have a real need for more, email us and we will normally raise it.
Why does my card statement say LINK.COM?
Plans are sold by Stripe as merchant of record, through its Link service. Stripe charges you, handles VAT and sales tax and sends your receipt, so the checkout and the receipt say "Sold through Link" and your statement may show LINK.COM rather than OrbitStudio. We never see or store your card details.
Do prices include VAT?
Prices in euros include VAT. Prices in US dollars do not: sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. You are charged in your currency at checkout, and a renewing plan keeps the price you bought it at.
I backed the campaign. Do I need a plan?
No. Starter, Premium, Lifetime Creator and Lifetime Commercial (Merchant) passes keep working as they are. If you add a plan, it sits on top: your pass and credits stay on your account, you spend no credits while the plan runs, and when it ends your account goes back to its pass.
Can I sell prints with Plus?
No. Plus is for personal use: printing for yourself and giving prints as gifts. Selling physical prints takes Merchant, the plan or the pass. On every plan and pass, the digital files themselves can never be resold or redistributed.
How do I buy a plan?
Press Get Plus or Get Merchant above. Without an account you can create one right there, and confirm your email address. Then you see the plan and its price once more, tick the box that asks for access to start now, and go on to checkout on Stripe's page. Signed in, the same plans are on your My plans page (in the Account menu).
What happens to my files when a plan ends?
Everything you downloaded stays yours, under the license you held when you made it, and prints you sold while Merchant ran stay covered. Your library goes back to its smaller limit; nothing saved is deleted because a plan ended.
