Where is the Snowman on Vesta?
Just north of the equator. Marcia, the largest of the three, is centered at 8.98° north, 20.45° west, Calpurnia at 16.72° north, 10.9° west, and Minucia at 20.2° north, 2.8° west; the gazetteer gives their longitudes east, as 339.55°, 349.10° and 357.20°. All three are named after Vestal Virgins, the priestesses of Vesta, the Roman goddess the asteroid is named after.
Why is it called the Snowman?
Because of how it looks from orbit: a large crater, a smaller one above it and a small one on top, stacked like a snowman. Dawn's camera team gave it the nickname in July 2011, in one of the first close views of Vesta. The IAU names are Marcia, Calpurnia and Minucia; the Snowman stays a nickname. Seen in color, the craters show fresh material dug up from depth.
What does the Snowman look like as a 3D print?
Three bowls in a row. Its entry frames about 160 kilometers, all three craters with ground to spare, and on a model 200 millimeters across the relief in that view comes out at about 25 millimeters at true scale. Marcia is the deepest and has a page of its own; Calpurnia and Minucia have entries of their own in the generator.
What is OrbitStudio?
OrbitStudio turns real elevation data into 3D-printable models. You pick a region of Vesta on a globe or a flat map, choose a jigsaw puzzle or a solid ornament, and get ready-to-print files with terrain and borders already separated and colored. No CAD, no mesh repair. The heights come from the shape model NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory made from Dawn's images, on a 50-meter grid.
Trying it is free and needs no account: pick a region, generate it and turn it around in 3D. Downloading the model — STL files and pre-colored 3MF files for Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer — takes a Plus or Merchant plan, or one credit from a pass. The generator covers the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Ceres, Pluto and Charon too.

The night sky, too
OrbitStudio Sky, the night-sky tool, turns the sky over any place, on any date from 1900 to 2100, into a 3D-printable star map. Its STL is free.
