<!-- KEEPING THIS FILE HONEST

     lastmod: the date that page's content last actually changed. Update it when
     you change what the page SAYS — new section, rewritten copy, a page going
     from noindex to index. Do NOT touch it for a deploy that leaves the text
     alone, and not for a typo either.

     That restraint is the whole value of the field. Google leans on lastmod to
     decide whether a re-crawl is worth it, and it stops trusting the signal for
     a whole site once the dates turn out to move on every deploy. A file full of
     today's date is worth less than no dates at all.

     There is no build step on Cloudflare Pages, so nothing generates these — it
     is hand work, on purpose, for four URLs.

     Every URL here is the canonical, extensionless form and answers 200. A
     sitemap that lists a redirect or a noindex page is a contradiction, and
     Search Console reports it as one.

     /terms and /privacy were dropped from this file while they were noindex;
     both are indexable again, so they are back. /legal/ and its frozen snapshots
     stay out on purpose: they are noindex by design, kept so a recorded
     terms_version points at a document rather than a name.

     Not listed and never should be: /app, /library and /admin. They sit behind a
     login and are disallowed in robots.txt. -->
